Life in Every BottlePresswell comes from our own mill on the 11th Cross at Vivekanand Nagar in Gokak, where the presses turn slowly enough that you can hear them think. Everything is cleaned and sorted by hand, then pressed one variety at a time.
Nothing is blended, nothing is heated, nothing is treated with solvent. The oil rests in steel until it settles clear on its own, then passes through cloth. What reaches your kitchen in Bangalore is a bottle with a date on it, sealed the day it was filled.

The ingredient
One ingredient at a time, cleaned and sorted by hand at the mill in Gokak. Never a blend.

The slow press
The press turns slowly, so the oil comes away without added heat or solvent.

Rest and filter
The oil rests in steel, settles on its own, then passes through cloth. Nothing added.

Bottle and seal
Bottled, dated and sealed with a tamper-evident cap, then sent out to Bangalore kitchens.

One ingredient, 100%
Each bottle is one ingredient and nothing else. Coconut, groundnut, sunflower or safflower — never a blend.
Unrefined, hexane-free
No chemical solvent, no bleaching, no deodorising. The colour, aroma and sediment are the ingredient's own.
Pressed without heat
A slow press keeps temperatures low, so the oil comes away the way it is.
Made for gentle heat
Unrefined oils are happiest below a hard fry. Best on low to medium heat.
Bottled and dated
Filled in glass, dated at the mill and closed with a tamper-evident cap.
